Grid

I often use grids, in this instance I am using the grid to add abstraction to an existing underlying image. Whereas I sometimes use the grid to transfer an image onto the painting substrate in the first place.

It’s an somewhat onerous process. I have 1196 square left to go. But, it is a great way to get the muscle memory back after some time away from painting.
